Merry Christmas!

Christmas has always been a very happy season for me.  I refuse to let this NMO diagnosis change that.  In fact, I’ve appreciated the Christmas season even more because of it.  I am so grateful for not only my family and friends, who deeply supported me through my hospital stay and continuous recovery, but for the medical team who persevered to see me through.  The combined effort of loved ones and passionate medical faculty allowed me to leave the hospital at the best time to enjoy the holiday season.  I want everyone with NMO, MS or any other chronic debilitating disease to know that recovery and happiness is possible!

Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones!

My son, Connor, has handled NMO with humor and grace from the moment it entered our lives. He is a positive, amazing young man who is doing what he can with this rare disease that brought him to his knees and is fighting back and raising its awareness for all. NMO N’MO!
