On an average day I wake up, take my pills, do some stretching to relieve my spasms in my legs.  If I’m not have bad back pain and my legs feel good I walk my dog, a doberman named Leonardo.  I try to do chores around the house without killing my back.  I like to have my friends and sister over to hang out, watch basketball games, and play video games.  I have lots of trouble falling asleep, whether it be because of my pain or anxiety.

Example of the medication I have to take as a person living with NMO:

meds

But all in all I feel very lucky to have regained ability to walk and most of my feeling in my legs again.  Pushing through!
